Humane Society of Charlotte has signed on to be a sponsor and beneficiary for the Checkers inaugural “Pooch Party” on Sunday, March 14 at 2 pm.

• Dog owners from throughout Charlotte are encouraged to bring their “4-legged friends” to the Checkers game on to enjoy the on-ice excitement together.
• Humane Society of Charlotte members and supporters will be able to attend the game and support the cause in the process.  As part of the fundraising partnership, the Checkers will donate $6 of each $15 ticket sold to HS of Charlotte supporters to the not-for-profit organization.
• Even if fans don’t want to bring their dogs to the game, they can still attend and raise funds for the Humane Society of Charlotte’s mission.
• Owner and dog will have a designated seating section to take in this “Pooch Party”, which will include promotional elements during the game and on the concourse as well as on-ice activities and much more.
