Make the Humane Society of Charlotte your first stop. We always have a large selection of healthy adult dogs and cats as well as playful puppies and kittens, all in need of loving homes with responsible owners.

All animals available for adoption have been screened by a veterinarian for health and temperament, are current on their vaccinations, and have been spayed/neutered if over 4 months of age. Those under 4 months of age will be scheduled to return to the Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic for surgery. This cost is included in the adoption fee.

Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to help you choose just the right pet for you and your family and will provide information on proper care and training.
