If you are too young to volunteer at the Humane Society of Charlotte you can still help make a difference in the lives of our animals. You can support and help the animals at our shelter and those in the community in several different ways.
Hold a shelter drive or fund raiser
This is a great project to do either by yourself or with a group of friends. You can collect items on our wish list that are needed to help take care of animals. The animals particularly need lots of toys, treats and blankets. You'll find the types we need on our wich list. Once you have completed your collection, let us know when you will bring them to the shelter so we can thank you personally!
There are several ways that you can help collect money to help our animals. Here are a few ideas to get you going, use your imagination and we are sure that you can come up with more ideas.
· Instead of birthday presents, ask for gifts for dogs and cats to donate to the shelter
· Have a bake sale or yard sale
· Make "Adopt Me" bandanas for dogs or cats who have been here for awhile
