We’re delighted to have you offer your services to help animals. The task of helping animals is not an easy one, but in the long run, it is extremely rewarding.

At the Humane Society of Charlotte, there is joy every time you see an animal find a new home. There will be times you despair at the headaches and heartaches of dealing with the welfare of animals. Always remember how much we value the help of our volunteers and depend on your help. If you feel overwhelmed at any time, please don’t hesitate to ask for assistance as you learn and grow with us. After all, it is the concern and compassion for animals that brings us all to the shelter and we hope that love will develop into a commitment to our goals.
